NLP Focus

There are numerous courses offering the ‘quick fix’ to classroom challenges, however when the techniques don’t work, there are often no answers as to what to do next! This course enables you to develop the flexibility of behaviour and range of skills so you can formulate your own effective strategies to promote learning, improve retention and motivate students.

We share with you the results of our research projects which demonstrate the effectiveness of NLP in improving learning and show you how you can make the same quantum shifts in your teaching. We will also share with you training and persuasion skills for working with colleagues.

You will benefit from this course as a Teacher, Trainer, Manager in Education Youth worker or Parent and are enthusiastic about applying the latest developments in NLP to teaching and learning. People in all walks of life with a desire to help children and young people learn better are welcome.

This unique course takes NLP into the field of education and learning. You may have attended a practitioner or Master Practitioner course and wondered how to integrate the learning into your practice as an educator.

This course enables you to apply your skills thoroughly and effectively;

  • In the classroom, becoming an inspiring and motivating teacher and presenter
  • As a tutor or mentor working one to one to help students overcome challenges and learn enthusiastically.
  • With your team and colleagues, to disseminate good practice and act as an agent of change in your organisation.

Just some of the strategies available to learn include;

Spelling reading and reading for meaning, research and writing, Mathematics, memory recall, problem solving, critical thinking and getting along with others!

We share with you the results of our research projects which demonstrate the effectiveness of NLP in improving learning and show you how you can make the same quantum shifts in your teaching.

The Durham Project

Results of a pilot study that involved four days training with a total of 20 staff from four schools (The Durham Project) included;

Improvement in the spelling score of one class from 25% to 92% in three weeks using just changes in teaching. Dramatic improvements in the learning of children with learning differences including ADD, ADHD and Dyslexia in one session. Improvement in the behaviour of students across a whole school.

We also teach you the training and persuasion skills for working with colleagues to disseminate good practice and bring others on board, manage reluctant staff and engage with the management to act as an agent of change.
